From Hagerstown, Maryland, David has been in the marching arts since 2004. He began his career with North Hagerstown High School, where he was a member for four years. During his time there, he was a trumpet player and drum major for outdoor marching band, and a front ensemble performer for indoor drumline. After graduating in 2010, he attended Shepherd University where he was a member of the Ram Band for three years as a trumpet player. David's color guard career began in 2020 with In Denial Independent Senior Guard, which was cut short by COVID. In 2022, he came back to the floor by making his debut in world class after getting contracted with AMP Independent World Guard. Since then, he has spun with Westshoremen Independent Senior Guard in 2023 & 2024.

 

David has been teaching various roles in the marching arts since 2010, including North Hagerstown High School, South Hagerstown High School, Williamsport High School, Walkersville High School, Boonsboro High School, and Martinsburg High School. He has also coached gymnastics for two years.
